ARRIVE IN HARBIN
Assemble at International airport for your flight to Harbin, Harbin is a famous historical and cultural city and a tourist city in China, as famous as “Ice World”, “Eastern Moscow”, and “Eastern Paris”. On arrival, be greeted and start the sightseeing tour of Harbin city.
【Harbin Jewish New Synagogue】Jewish New Synagogue lies in Jingwei Street, Daoli District, bordering the city center.It was built in 1918, with an area of 2400 square meters, is China's largest synagogue. 2006, for the protection of historical and cultural relics, it carried out repairs on the halls. The museum displays the "Harbin Jewish History and Culture Exhibition”, showing the production and living conditions of the Jews in Harbin in mid-20th century.
【Sites of the Jewish Free Soup Kitchen and the Home for Aged】by bus ,Designed by C.M. Rabinovitch and H.A.Rabinovitch,and with its construction completed in November 1920, the Jewish Free Soup Kitchen and the Home for Aged were the two of the charity institutions of the Harbin Jewish Community.
【The Old Synagogue】After the Russo Japanese War, the number of Jews in Harbin increased to more than 3000. According to the needs of religious life, the Jewish religious association of Harbin began to raise funds for the construction of synagogue hall in 1905. It was built and opened in January 15, 1909, and the designer is the famous Kiley.
【The Jewish middle school】Several Jewish organizations set up the school in1916. Later, Jews founded the famous Glazunov music school.

【Central Street】Central Street was built in 1900, which is still one of major business streets in Harbin. There are a lot of department stores, fashion shops and featured restaurants along two sides of this street. The buildings on the street are in all European styles like Renaissance architecture style, Baroque architecture style, eclecticism and so on. There are always a lot of people on the street to tour or shop.
【Modern Hotel】(You could taste a Modern Popsicle, each person gets one free) This is a comprehensive enterprise set up by the Jews in 1913, which is a collection of hotels and theaters. It won the world reputation soon. The name of "Ma Dier" has been used to the present.It is a typical French Baroque architecture during the Renaissance.
【Hua Mei Western Restaurant】,it was built in 1925,formerly known as Marrs Western-style food tea shop.
【A Jewish National bank】was created in 1923 following the efforts of A.M Pataka, D.N. Ganansky, Dr. A Kaufman, M Y. Elkin, M.I Trotsky, Dr. S.M.Vechter, G. B. Drisin, M.I Schister, and Y. Beiner that initiated this project already in 1919. The bank’s prime customers were Jewish businesses in need of cheap credit, but later it also catered to the needs of the wider business community. The bank ceased operation in 1950.
【Sites of Jewish hospital】the construction of the Harbin Jewish Hospital started in June 1933, and completed in 1939.Today it serves as the Harbin Ophthalmology Hospital.The Jewish Hospital was considered the best medical facility in Harbin.
【Originally Miniature Restaurant】was originally the Miniature Restaurant run by a Jew Named Karci .The construction began in 1926 and finished in 1927. It is in brick-wooden structure, featuring the Art Nouveau Movement Style.
【Originally Brother Samsonovky Chamber of Commerce】was originally the Brother Chamber of Commerce created by the French Jew named Samsonovky. It was built in early 20 century and later it was sold to Churin Company in 1915, become a branch company in Daoli Branch. The building is in brick-R.C. mixed structure with the features of Art Nouveau.
【A. L Aokun Building】was built in 1917, it was originally the Mansion run by Jew named A. L. Aokun. The building is a brick-r.C. mixed structure with Eclectic architectural style.

【Huangshan Jewish Cemetery】, the largest and best-preserved one in East Asia, which witnessed the special friendship between Chinese people and Jewish people. It was founded in 1903. In the same year, the Jewish religious association of Harbin established the Jewish Funeral Association to manage the cemetery. From 1903 to 1958, more than 3000 Jews were buried here. Former Israeli Prime Minister Olmert's grandparents, is also buried here.
【St. Sophia Church Square】(Visit inside),this is the biggest orthodox church in Asia, was built in 1907, is the military church of No.4 Siberia Infantry division of Russian army.
【Siberian Tiger Park】is located on the northern side of the Songhua River and neighbors the Sun Island. Covering an area of 1,200,000 square meters, the park is considered the one and only place in the world to admire the purebred and scarce Siberian tiger (aka Manchurian tiger), one of the world's top 10 endangered animals.The park consists of five sections: Adult Tiger Garden, Adult Tiger Breeding Garden, Tiger Cub Garden, Lion Garden and the Walking Area. Currently, the park has more than 600 tigers, which are trained to get used to the natural environment.

【Skidelsky's Former Residence】It was a private house of Skidelsky, a Judaic merchant in Harbin, built in 1914. The designer was Troanovsky, The building is in brick-R.C mixed structure. in imitation of Classical Revival architectural styletural style. Skidelsky was a famous Jewish forestry capitalist. He had obtained the management right of five forest farms along the Middle East Railway and rent the zalan Nur coal mine.
【Meiluoviky Building】was originally Meiluoviky Mansion, built in 1921,The designer was Y.P Ridanov. The building is in brick-wooden structure with Renaissance architectural style. Meiluoviky was a famous Jewish animal husbandry expert and stockholder in that year. There were many properties in Harbin. This building was one of them. The first floor was the famous BiLiewosi Kaya hospital ever. The famous lotus School of art was also built in this building.
【Sites of the Muling Coal Mine Company】was built in 1912.The building is a brick-wooden structure, in imitation of Renaissance architectural style. It was Salomon. Skidelsky’s private residence. Salomon. Skidelsky collaborated with the Jilin provincial government official shares founded the Muling coal company, the total office was located here.

【Flood Prevention Monument Tower】with its unique western retro touch, stood out among all statues in the city and became the true representation of the city’s pride.
【Stalin Park】is one of the places for sightseeing and be away for the summer holidays on the river bank of Songhua River. It gazes at each other with the Sun Island from beyond the river. The park was built in 1953, old named Riverside Park. Park has a length of 1750 meters and is a opening park along the river.
【Middle East Railway Bridge】in Harbin is also known as the Songhua River railway bridge. This name is always associated with its history. The Middle East Railway Bridge is the first bridge across the river in Harbin and a Songhua River railway bridge across the Middle East Railway of Eurasia.
【Middle East Railway Park】, the park is 2.7 kilometers long, with a total area of 10.4 hectares. It is a open park with the theme of the Middle East Railway as the theme.
After dinner,【Enjoy A Concert】(The performance time is every MON、WED、FRI、SAT 19:30 - 20:30)after dinner we will enjoy a concert in the Main Synagogue. Harbin is a famous musical city with a hundred years Symphony Orchestra. In 2010, Harbin was awarded the "reputation of the capital of music" by the United Nations.

Additional details
1. Before you pay deposit to book the tour, we haven’t made any reservation yet. The train, flight tickets and the hotel may different from the itinerary listed.
2. The visiting order of the scenic spots in the itinerary may change according to the traffic condition and other unforeseen things.
3. Tourist insurance is a must before going, please provide us the confirmation of insurance company when sign up.
The price includes
1. Entrance Fees: to scenic spots as listed in the itinerary
2. All the activities fee mentioned in the itinerary: Hutong rickshaw in Beijing; Sichuan Opera show in Chengdu;
3. Private Transfers: Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing during the trip by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver.
4. Meals: All meals as indicated in the itinerary (B-breakfast, L-lunch, D-dinner), include Peking duck dinner in Beijing; Hot pot dinner in Chengdu.
5. Guide: As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available

10. Tourist accident insurance. NB - you are strongly suggested to buy travel and health insurance before you start out from your home country.
Payment conditions
To confirm your reservation, you must pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount due via the payment link that your local agent will share. The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. The quoted exchange rate is valid for the next 7 days – if the deposit is not paid within this time, the quote will be re-calculated.
Terms and conditions for cancelation
i. Cancellation of the Tour by CAT (local agent):
CAT reserve the right to cancel the postpone tour at any time up to the date final payment is due under the following condition: in our opinion, health and/or safety factors related to conditions in China would make the tour inadvisable. And in this case, all money paid by the participants will be refunded. If the tour is postponed, CAT will offer all those who have signed up the opportunity to have the same tour for a later time, but the price may be changed according to the season. We will notify you of any change, and give you a reasonable period
of time to make your decision. Consumers may, but are under no obligation to, take the tour under these new terms. After final payment has been made, we may cancel the tour only if, in our opinion, health and/or safety factors related to conditions in China would make the tour inadvisable. Since cancellation in this case involves factors which may arise suddenly and are entirely outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest and epidemic disease, we cannot guarantee a full refund in this case. This is because payment will already have been made to finalize the arrangements and reservation.
ii. Cancellation of the Tour by Consumer:
Any cancellation must be made by sending an email to the local agent. The cancellation fee varies according to how many days prior to departure the cancellation is made:
· More than 30 days prior to departure: 5% of the total holiday cost
· Between 30 and 22 days prior to departure : 25% of the total holiday cost
· Between 21 and 8 days prior to departure : 50% of the total holiday cost
· Between 7 and 3 days prior to departure : 75% of the total holiday cost
· Less than 3 days prior to departure and after the departure date: 100% of the total holiday cost
All cancellations must be in writing and will be effective upon receipt by CAT. No refund will be made to those participants who break the journey regardless of the portions of the package unused. If, owing to serious illness or injury, the participant withdraws from the tour, a refund will be subject to the consent of the local travel agent.
No refund will be made to those participants who have failed to secure valid travel documents such as passport or visas.
