Your experienced CAT guide will meet you at the capital airport. Drive to visit the Tiananmen Square, one of the largest and grandest public plazas in the world. Enter within the imposing walls of the Forbidden City (Gu Gong) for an extensive tour through this vast complex of palaces, pavilions and courtyards as your engaging guide illuminates the dramatic history of the emperor who once resided here. After that, transfer to the hotel. Tonight you could enjoy night life of Beijing downtown.

Today you will discover most of Beijing's Imperial treasures. Get up early in the morning to visit the Temple of Heaven, a great historical site in Beijing, where you can witness the local people's interesting morning life – doing Tai Chi. You may also have chance to try Tai Chi, an internal Chinese martial art practiced for its health benefits.
Then head to visit the Drum Tower (Gu Lou) dating from 1420. Ascending the big Drum Tower, you will have a bird's eye view of the surrounding communities of Hutongs and Siheyuan from here. Afterwards, go to visit the most famous Hutongs keeping the original layout in the Shichahai area to see the local Beijing People's lifestyle. And then move on to an ordinary family courtyard home for the Dumpling Making course, and have a self-cooked lunch together. Participate in all kinds of Hutong’s cultural and traditional Games or Handcrafts including Cricket Fighting, Calligraphy, Paper Cutting.
Then, you will be transferred to the Summer Palace, one of the best preserved summer resorts of the royal family. It exhibits the quintessence of the Chinese classical landscape gardening.
This evening you may go to watch a Traditional Acrobatics Show.

BEIJING - MUTIANYU GREAT WALL
Activities: Mutianyu Great Wall, Beijing Olympic Village
Today's excursion takes us to the beautiful Mutianyu Great Wall (80km away from Beijing downtown), which is known for its beautiful surroundings. It is a superb location to appreciate the grandness of the Great Wall as well as to avoid the crowds at Badaling. It was first built in the mid-6th century during the Northern Qi, making it older than the Badaling section. In 1569, the Mutianyu Great Wall was rebuilt and till today most parts of it are well preserved. The Mutianyu Great Wall has the largest construction scale and best quality among all sections of Great Wall. You may choose to take the cable car (at your own expense) up & down the wall or walk up the wall.
In the afternoon, drive back to downtown, enjoy a guided tour of the Beijing Olympic Village to take some photos of the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube from the outside. Bird Nest, also called Beijing National Stadium is a stadium in Beijing. The stadium was designed for use throughout the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics and will be used again in the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. The Bird's Nest sometimes has some extra temporary large screens installed at the stands of the stadium.

Activities: Half-day Skiing Tour in Yabuli International Ski Resort
After breakfast, make a 2.5-hour drive to the Yabuli International Ski Resort and start your Half-day Skiing Tour.
Yabuli International Ski Resort serves as a world-class skiing training venue in high mountains of good snow with a resort hotel, retail and ski rental shops, souvenir stores, a youth hostel and snack bars. It is also the biggest training center for alpine skiers in China and hosts of many professional skiing competitions. The resort has two different skiing areas, the competitive skiing section and leisure skiing section. Built according the international standard, the competitive section provides an excellent skiing environment for professional skiers. As to the leisure skiing area, there is a comparatively easy and safe field for tourist, which provides great skiing with high mountains and excellent snow.

Activities: Snow Carving Festival in Sun Island, Northeast Tiger Park, Ice and Snow World
After breakfast, pick you up from your hotel and then drive to enjoy the Snow Carving Festival in Sun Island, which is the biggest recreational center and a highly popular scenic attraction in Harbin. Here the International Snow Sculpture Art EXPO is held every winter and you can see various awesome snow sculptures featuring different cultures. Then drive northwards to see the Siberian tigers in the Northeast Tiger Park. It will be a thrill and exciting experience to be caged in a specially protected bus to see these cute big cats as well as lions.
After dinner, go to the Ice and Snow World or an ice fairyland on earth. The ice carvings at the Harbin Ice and Snow World are list as the world’s greatest examples of ice art, the largest ice and snow art exhibition in the world. The magical and extraordinary ice lanterns and sculptures have literally made this theme park an icy fairyland, you will find many interesting things to do in the park.

Saint Sofia Church, Central Street, Stalin Park
Morning tour the Saint Sofia Church, the largest Eastern Orthodox Church in China as well in the Far East. Free walk through the Central Street (Zhongyang Dajie), which is the most famous street reflecting the foreign styles. It includes many European architectural styled building from Renaissance and the baroque to eclecticism. Then transfer to Stalin Park to do some optional winter activities (snowmobiling, ice sliding, horse/dog sledding, snow tubing etc.) or watch winter swimming performance (all at your own expense). Later, transfer to the airport for the afternoon flight to Xi'an. On arrival, you are picked up to the hotel.

Activities: Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Xi'an Daqin Terracotta & Lacquer Furniture Art Factory
After breakfast at the hotel, pay a visit to the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum (Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum). It is one of the most important archaeological finds in the 20th century; an army of life-size terracotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at Emperor Qin's tomb since 2500 year ago. We will find not one, but thousands of clay soldiers, each with unique facial expressions and positioned according to rank. UNESCO listed it in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. In the afternoon, proceed to visit the Xi'an Daqin Terracotta & Lacquer Furniture Art Factory. In the factory, you can see the process of how to make Terracotta Warriors and Horses.

Activities: Cycling Tour along the Ancient City Wall, Chinese Shadow Puppet Show in Gao's Grand Courtyard, Community Services in Huiling Center
After breakfast, begins our Cycling Tour along the Ancient City Wall, the best-kept and biggest city walls in China. The original foundation was based on the ruins of the Imperial City Wall of Chang’an City, the capital of the Tang Dynasty. Though the wall has been entirely renovated, it still resonates with history. After that, We may enjoy Chinese Shadow Puppet Show in Gao's Grand Courtyard if the time permits. It is an ancient form of storytelling and entertainment using opaque figures in front of an illuminated backdrop to create the illusion of moving images.
After lunch in local restaurant, transfer to Huiling Center to take part in community services. Huiling means 'wise spirit'. It was first established in Guangdong province in 1990, and quickly expanded into many cities, including Beijing, Tianjin, and Xi’an. Huiling provides people with mental handicaps (mostly people with Down’s Syndrome) the opportunity to develop their personal abilities and enable them to achieve their maximum independence. Through the various facilities of the society, the community provides a learning environment for its participants and assists them in leading meaningful lives and sharing the same rights as other citizens of the society. During our visit, we will have an opportunity to interact with community members and work with them on various hand-craft projects and cultural exchange activities.

the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is unquestionably an icon of Pudong’s
renaissance. Looming through the mist, like a reproduction of a classical
Chinese ink painting of landscape, stands Shanghai’s Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
Its soaring height of 468 meters boldly characterizes the Lujiazui cityscape.
In the afternoon, we will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River to visit the most bustling shopping street in Shanghai - Nanjing Road, the first commercial pedestrian street and one site for shopping in Shanghai. The Bund: also called the Zhongshan Road, is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years, showcasing outstanding foreign buildings in Shanghai and most of which were erected before 1937.

10. Tourist accident insurance. NB - you are strongly suggested to buy travel and health insurance before you start out from your home country.
Payment conditions
To confirm your reservation, you must pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount due via the payment link that your local agent will share. The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. The quoted exchange rate is valid for the next 7 days – if the deposit is not paid within this time, the quote will be re-calculated.
Terms and conditions for cancelation
i. Cancellation of the Tour by CAT (local agent):
CAT reserve the right to cancel the postpone tour at any time up to the date final payment is due under the following condition: in our opinion, health and/or safety factors related to conditions in China would make the tour inadvisable. And in this case, all money paid by the participants will be refunded. If the tour is postponed, CAT will offer all those who have signed up the opportunity to have the same tour for a later time, but the price may be changed according to the season. We will notify you of any change, and give you a reasonable period
of time to make your decision. Consumers may, but are under no obligation to, take the tour under these new terms. After final payment has been made, we may cancel the tour only if, in our opinion, health and/or safety factors related to conditions in China would make the tour inadvisable. Since cancellation in this case involves factors which may arise suddenly and are entirely outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest and epidemic disease, we cannot guarantee a full refund in this case. This is because payment will already have been made to finalize the arrangements and reservation.
ii. Cancellation of the Tour by Consumer:
Any cancellation must be made by sending an email to the local agent. The cancellation fee varies according to how many days prior to departure the cancellation is made:
· More than 30 days prior to departure: 5% of the total holiday cost
· Between 30 and 22 days prior to departure: 25% of the total holiday cost
· Between 21 and 8 days prior to departure: 50% of the total holiday cost
· Between 7 and 3 days prior to departure: 75% of the total holiday cost
· Less than 3 days prior to departure and after the departure date: 100% of the total holiday cost
All cancellations must be in writing and will be effective upon receipt by CAT. No refund will be made to those participants who break the journey regardless of the portions of the package unused. If, owing to serious illness or injury, the participant withdraws from the tour, a refund will be subject to the consent of the local travel agent.
No refund will be made to those participants who have failed to secure valid travel documents such as passport or visas.
