This trip aims to help to preliminarily understand the three concepts and basic design principles of permaculture.Understand and practice the healthy lifestyle beneficial to the earth; Through activities, students can feel the fun of hands-on practice, feel their self-worth, and cultivate their ability to solve problems. Promote the cultivation of students' respect for partners, sense of cooperation and ability of communication and expression through the team system.

    Round table discussion on the concept of permaculture life

    Through problem discussion, guide students to understand the concept of permaculture life.

    1) Earth Care: care for all living and nonliving things: soil, species and varieties, atmosphere, forests, micro habitats, animals and water.

    2) People Care: focusing on the satisfaction of basic needs such as food, shelter, education, satisfactory employment and happy interpersonal communication.

    3) Fair-share: allocate surplus time, money and material reasonably to realize the first two items.

    1)关爱地球:对所有有生命和无生命事物的关心:土壤、物种以及品种、大气、森林、微生境、动物和水。

    2)关爱人类:关注食物、住所、教育、令人满意的就业和快乐的人际交往等基本需要的满足。

    3)公平分享: 合理分配结余的时间、金钱和物质以实现前面两项。

    Understand the needs of the camp for planting and irrigation, and understand the functions and production cases of each project

    Project 1: thick soil cultivation

    Guide students to use natural materials and recycled materials to build planting beds and promote soil fertility.

    Project 2: insect Hostel

    Guide students to use recycled materials to make living space for various insects and place them in the garden to improve the biodiversity of the garden.

    Project 3: rainwater collection and irrigation system

    Guide students to use recycled materials to make rainwater collection and drainage devices for garden irrigation.

    2) Discuss the design of insect Hotel (wood, straw, brick, plastic hose, etc.) and complete the design drawing

    3) Material preparation and tool use drill

    Project group 3: rainwater collection and irrigation system

    1) Understand the water cycle

    2) Discuss the design of rainwater collection and pouring device and complete the design drawing

This price includes

1.      Entrance Fees: to scenic spots as listed in the itinerary

2.      All the activities and training fee mentioned in the itinerary;

3.      Private Transfers: Transfers between school and training base while sightseeing during the trip by private air conditioned vehicles with drivers.

4.      Meals: 3 lunches

5.      Guide: as outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guides will be provided during the trip.

6.      Professional permaculture life design mentor.

7.      Travel Agency Liability insurance


The tour cost does not include:

1.   Personal gear required: hiking boots; raincoat; cap; camera; sun-cream; sun-glasses; pocket knife; day-pack, etc.

2.   Any personal expenses such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone call

3.   Doctor with the group

4.   Other activities not mentioned in the itinerary

5.   The extra cost due to the unforeseen events

6.   Expenses of a personal nature: favorite snacks, soft drinks, laundry, local or long-distance calls, etc.

7.   Tourist accident insurance. NB - you are strongly suggested to buy travel and health insurance before you start out from your home country.

8.   Supplementary trips, entrance fees and services not mentioned, and extra costs due to unforeseen circumstances


 

Holiday Information

Enough films and batteries, Sun-cream with the protection index of 40-60, sunglasses with a sun protection factor of 15, the lip creams and balms with SPF rating, towel, toothpaste, electric torch, Snack foods.

Cloth that you bring must be warm enough and can be removed easy enough according to the weather, including Jacket, hat, Cotton underwear, Socks, Long-sleeve Shirts, T-shirts and Pants (Shorts are not appropriate at any time while hiking), comfortable shoes, rain gear (long rain coat is better).

In addition to the normal medications for traveling, just like the Aspirin and medicine for diarrhea, siriasis,sunstroke and carsickness.
