Embark on an 8-day journey through Southern China, exploring the unique blend of ancient traditions and modern innovation in the "Greater Bay Area."
Your adventure begins in Guangzhou, where you will cruise the Pearl River at night and explore the exquisite Chen Clan Ancestral Hall and the European-style architecture of Shamian Island. You will also delve into 2,000 years of history at the Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King.
Traveling to Foshan, you will witness traditional Cantonese crafts like pottery and lion dancing at the Ancient Nanfeng Kiln. The trip continues to Shenzhen to see China's famous landmarks in miniature at Splendid China. You will then cross the water to Macau, exploring the fusion of Chinese and Portuguese cultures at the Ruins of St. Paul and A-Ma Temple. The tour concludes in Hong Kong, offering panoramic views from Victoria Peak and a glimpse of local life at Aberdeen and Stanley Market.

ARRIVE IN GUANGZHOU
Arrive in Guangzhou, the local guide will pick you up from train station, transfer to the hotel. After dinner, go to enjoy a Pearl River night cruise. We will board the cruise ship to appreciate the historical and cultural scenic spots on both banks of the Pearl River. Along the way, you will have a panoramic view of the charming river lit by bright and multicolored neon lamps. You can also have a nice glimpse of a number of distinctive buildings, such as the magnificent Canton Tower, the grand Southern Mansion, and many buildings constructed in western style on Shamian Island.

GUANGZHOU
After breakfast, our guide and drive will pick you up from the hotel, starts from the Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family. It was originally the ancestral hall of fame related to Chen clan. It was well-restored and now becomes a folk museum, where people could appreciate the Chinese traditional fine arts and crafts, including colored glass, wood carving, paper cutting, fans and ivory carving. Then continue to visit the lychee bay, Xiguan house.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King. Dating back to 122 B.C., this tomb with amazing artifacts found on site allows visitor to get a glimpse of this little-unknown history of South China, as well as the life of Nanyue king.
The last destination of today is Shamian Island. This Island has a different atmosphere and tempo of life compared to other places in Guangzhou. There are about 150 buildings of European styles. Like most small towns in Europe, you can find restaurants, cafes and bars along the roads. It is regarded as the most exotic place in Guangzhou.

GUAGNZHOU
After breakfast, today we will go to visit Shawan ancient town, your visit will also cover the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees and Huacheng Square (Flower City Square). The Temple of the Six Banyan Trees is one of the most noted temples in the City and is famous for the Flowery Pagoda (Hua Pagoda). The Huacheng Square (Flower City Square) is a great place for taking photos as the square is surrounded by sky-scraping modern or cultural buildings, including the majestic Canton Tower, the jewelry box liking Guangdong Museum, Guangzhou Library, Guangzhou Opera House and the IFC Tower.

GUANGZHOU - FOSHAN (ANCESTRAL TEMPLE - ANCIENT NANFENG KILN) - SHENZHEN
Today’s itinerary is an extensive version of Cantonese characteristics. Drive 1.5 hour and you set foot in Foshan, the sister city of Guangzhou. First welcoming you is Ancestral Temple. Inside the temple exquisite details of architecture, décor and exhibits are boasting themselves. A fresh world of Cantonese folklore is further displayed in the next attraction Ancient Nanfeng Kiln. Every workmanship that comes across you is so interesting- straw sandals making, pottery, paper cutting, Cantonese drama, lion dancing, Kung Fu, etc. In the late afternoon let’s drive to Foshan West Railway station, take a high speed train to Shenzhen (55mins ride), upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and have a rest.

SHENZHEN CITY TOUR - MACAO
After breakfast, begin your explore of Shenzhen. Firstly, you will visit Shenzhen Museum. After lunch, go to explore the Splendid China. Splendid China Folk Culture Village in Shenzhen is a comprehensive miniature park reflecting the history, culture, art, ancient architecture, and customs and habits of various nationalities in China. It is one of the world largest scenery parks in the amount of scenarios reproduced.
In the late afternoon, transfer to Shekou Pier, 1 hour ferry to Macau. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel on your own.

MACAO HIGHLIGHTS

Today, we will first go to visit A-MaTemple, which is the most famous and oldest (built in 1488) of Macau’s Chinese temples, this Taoist building was around before the Portuguese colonisation and therefore has a huge historical significance to the island and its initial religious standing prior to the western colonisation.. After that go to explore Ruins of St. Paul, the most representative scenic spots of Macau, refers to the front of St. Paul Cathedral completed in the year of 1580. Mixing the style of renaissance and that of oriental architectures, the exquisite and magnificent cathedral used to be the largest Catholic Church, known as Oriental Vatican, affiliated to St. Paul College.
After visit, we will move to Senado Square and Macau Tower. The tallest building in Macau at a staggering 338 metres high is an impressive structure that stands tall as a mark of Macau’s willingness to embrace the modern age.
After visit, we will be proceed to the Macau Ferry Terminal to travel to Hong Kong Ferry Terminal (1 hour). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel on your own and check in. Free in the rest of the day.

Start our city tour with Golden Bauhinia Square, then the Victoria Peak (include one way Peak Tram Ride), sit on the right of the tram for the best views, and be certain to wait for a clear day to make the trip. Do not leave the Tower complex - which is a little disorientating without riding the escalators to the outdoor observation deck: the views are breathtaking. After that, visit Aberdeen fishing village (with Sampan Ride), old-fashioned boats which provide floating homes for thousands of people. Taking a ride on one of the boats is a popular activity.
After a local Dim sum lunch, Then shopping time at Stanley Market, where is known for its bargain clothes, and the stalls are as good a place as anywhere in Hong Kong to buy souvenir T-shirts or inexpensive Chinese artifacts and household goods. After seeing the market wander down to Stanley's waterfront Main Street, lined with bars, pubs and restaurants popular with ex-pats.

1. Before you pay deposit to book the tour, we haven’t made any reservation yet. The train, flight tickets and the hotel may different from the itinerary listed.
2. The visiting order of the scenic spots in the itinerary may change according to the traffic condition and other unforeseen things.
3. Tourist insurance is a must before going, please provide us the confirmation of insurance company when sign up.
The price includes
1. Entrance Fees: to scenic spots as listed in the itinerary
2. All the activities fee mentioned in the itinerary: Hutong rickshaw in Beijing; Sichuan Opera show in Chengdu;
3. Private Transfers: Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing during the trip by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver.
4. Meals: All meals as indicated in the itinerary (B-breakfast, L-lunch, D-dinner), include Peking duck dinner in Beijing; Hot pot dinner in Chengdu.
5. Guide: As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available

Payment conditions
To confirm your reservation, you must pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount due via the payment link that your local agent will share. The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. The quoted exchange rate is valid for the next 7 days – if the deposit is not paid within this time, the quote will be re-calculated.
Terms and conditions for cancelation
i. Cancellation of the Tour by CAT (local agent):
CAT reserve the right to cancel the postpone tour at any time up to the date final payment is due under the following condition: in our opinion, health and/or safety factors related to conditions in China would make the tour inadvisable. And in this case, all money paid by the participants will be refunded. If the tour is postponed, CAT will offer all those who have signed up the opportunity to have the same tour for a later time, but the price may be changed according to the season. We will notify you of any change, and give you a reasonable period
of time to make your decision. Consumers may, but are under no obligation to, take the tour under these new terms. After final payment has been made, we may cancel the tour only if, in our opinion, health and/or safety factors related to conditions in China would make the tour inadvisable. Since cancellation in this case involves factors which may arise suddenly and are entirely outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest and epidemic disease, we cannot guarantee a full refund in this case. This is because payment will already have been made to finalize the arrangements and reservation.
ii. Cancellation of the Tour by Consumer:
Any cancellation must be made by sending an email to the local agent. The cancellation fee varies according to how many days prior to departure the cancellation is made:
· More than 30 days prior to departure: 5% of the total holiday cost
· Between 30 and 22 days prior to departure : 25% of the total holiday cost
· Between 21 and 8 days prior to departure : 50% of the total holiday cost
· Between 7 and 3 days prior to departure : 75% of the total holiday cost
· Less than 3 days prior to departure and after the departure date: 100% of the total holiday cost
All cancellations must be in writing and will be effective upon receipt by CAT. No refund will be made to those participants who break the journey regardless of the portions of the package unused. If, owing to serious illness or injury, the participant withdraws from the tour, a refund will be subject to the consent of the local travel agent.
No refund will be made to those participants who have failed to secure valid travel documents such as passport or visas.
