Tropical Hainan Expedition with Biking and Hiking
Our unique 15-days soft hiking and cultural tour will afford you a wonderful experience of some of the finest cultural heritage sties and spectacular landscapes China has to offer. Due to an ancient history and deeply rich culture, Beijing has a wide range of exciting things to offer and we have developed a tour that will allow you to experience many of its wonderful highlights. Our Beijing experiences will include visits to the incredible Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven which are both considered unmissable for any visitor to China's capital city. We will also take you to the Beijing Temple Theatre to watch an authentic Chinese opera performance but most importantly, you will experience a magnificent section of the Great Wall at Mutianyu.
Our journey then continues in the beautiful city of Xi'an, famous for its old city walls and its impressive bell tower. Xi'an acts as a perfect platform to visit the amazing Terracotta Army (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) that includes more than 6,000 individually crafted soldiers of stunning detail. After exploring an eclectic mixture of rural cultures (including the highlight of a visit to Dazhai village) and natural landscapes via Guilin and Longji, we then take you the stunningly beautiful town of Yanghsuo which is located amidst incredible limestone peaks. Here you will explore an incredible piece of China on foot and by bicycle! The final step of the tour takes us to the futuristic-looking city of Shanghai, which is beautiful blend of modern buildings and historical cultural heritage – this is a truly spectacular way to end your journey!
